We are working to ensure that Estonia has a national pet register and that pet chipping (especially cats and dogs) is mandatory in all municipalities. We carry out chipping campaigns, introduce the chipping process and existing pet registries (especially LLR.ee).
We give animal welfare and animal protection lectures in educational institutions and youth centers. We are working to make animal protection a part of the national curriculum.
General improvement of animal husbandry. Animal welfare outreach; counseling and training of pet owners; cooperation with local governments, other private and public organizations.
Supporting the activities of animal protection organizations, providing advice and cooperation if necessary.
Inspection of animal keeping conditions according to submitted complaints.
