The local government is responsible for catching and keeping stray animals. Shelters NGO has prepared a separate map, on which you can find the contacts of the relevant municipality or instructions on where to go next. The map can be found HERE.
If an animal should end up in a shelter, the first thing is to check the chip. If the chip is present and entered in the register, the pet will also return home faster. Most veterinary clinics can also check the chip and register it. Even if the animal does not go outside, chipping is important, because you never know when an animal can get outside through a door or an open window.
